I discovered a really valuable addition to the Habits show and the Ziglar wheel of life, courtesy of a small revelation and then an answer from Brian Dixon. Brian was our guest in show 715 where we discussed the message from his book, “Start With Your People”. When I got to the personal spoke, Brian offered a couple of things he does. But I wanted more, for a reason I can’t explain. And the aspect of self-care occurred to me. So along with what you do for yourself, fun or play, I asked him, “What about in regards to self-care?” He immediately gave three answers for significant things he does for himself, and all three are things I’ve never done myself, such as using salt-water float tanks and seeing movies at the theater in the middle of the day. It was a really interesting and insightful discussion I think you’ll get much from.
