Hopefully, we all know that placing blame on anything or anyone is simply giving our power away. Zig drives home this point with a short message and states that when we stop blaming and take full responsibility for our lives, we free ourselves up to move freely and faster. Hearing these truths and actually walking in them, however, are two very different things. Most of the time blame slips in and we don’t realize we’re giving our power to it. When it comes in the form of a person, as Zig points out, it requires forgiveness. From this concept and Zig’s message, I posted this question to the Ziglar listeners, “What is something or someone you blamed that was holding you back, and now you’ve let go (forgiven?) and have moved on to greater success?” I believe you’ll find the responses comforting and freeing. If someone else can move beyond well-deserved blame, so can you. Tom Ziglar joined me to talk through your heartfelt responses.
